Ursula

intercot.com - Mon, 2017-09-18 02:55
Is there a place to meet Ursula? I thought maybe at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but I can't find a complete list. They all just say blah, blah, blah and "more".

"Go see Animal Kingdom at Night"

intercot.com - Mon, 2017-09-18 00:34
In May, when exactly would it be dark enough to get that Pandora experience? We are doing two part days at AK - one early and one later. on our later one we are eating at Cape May at the Beach Club. I'm not sure how late AK stays open - should we be staying at AK and then doing dinner (which would certainly be easier, but when does it get dark?) or planning to do dinner and come BACK?

The Ganachery Unveils New Treats for Autumn 2017

intercot.com - Sun, 2017-09-17 22:16
From September 29 through October 31, 2017; The Ganachery at Disney Springs will feature fanciful Fall treats:

For those who want to skip the graham crackers and get straight to the fluff, try a Madagascan vanilla bean marshmallow. This bite-sized sweet is dipped in creamy milk chocolate and garnished with a dash of crispies to add that extra ‘crunch.’

...This year, the chocolatiers at The Ganachery have created several new fall-inspired recipes, starting with a tasty take on a traditional drink–hot cocoa. This classic sipping chocolate is topped with vanilla bean whipped cream and dark chocolate crispy pearls. For the adults, this drink is also offered with a dash of Bailey’s liqueur to add that extra warmth!

In addition, you’ll also find pumpkin spice latte-flavored and maple pecan-flavored chocolate ganache squares. These squares are decorated with fall and Halloween-themed designs that add a spooky flair to your tasty experience.

Lastly, these spine-chilling skeleton skulls are just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit! These decadent dark chocolate skulls come in two sizes. The smaller bite-sized chocolate skull is filled with salted caramel ganache, while the larger skull is served hollow. Both skulls are made with 65% dark chocolate and brushed with bronze deco powder.

A friend recommend thst I purchase the Touring Plans app to help with reservations and fast passes. Is it just me or is it very difficult to navigate? I have gotten some responses for dining reservations but unfortunately, not when we can make them? Is it supposed to help you find fast passes also? What am I doing wrong?

Safari at Night

intercot.com - Sun, 2017-09-17 12:26
This will be our first trip to WDW with AK being open at night (normally closed at 5-6 pm the time of year we go). I'd like to get some opinions on the safari at night vs the normal day time version we are used to. Is it worth waiting to go on it at night? We'll get a fast pass for this - so just wondering what time to get it for.

Thanks!

As we mentioned before the fan favorite exhibit and movie attraction One Man’s Dream has been given a new treatment and re-imagined into Walt Disney Presents. The first half is still all the history leading up to the creation of Disneyland, but the second half has now gone theme park...

Pros & Cons of Beach Club/PO Riverside/Wilderness Lodge

intercot.com - Sat, 2017-09-16 01:20
We are planning a very "last minute" trip to Disney March 2018. It will be our family of 4- me, DH, DD 15 and DS 20. We usually stay at the Wilderness Lodge, but are considering staying somewhere else this time. We LOVE WL ,but are considering Beach Club since it is so close to Epcot & HS and we can walk to both of those locations. I've been wanting to try POR, but feel it may be so far from everything. Also considering Copper Creek Villas at WL, depending on the price.

Please give me some Pro's and Cons of each of the properties to help me decide.
Thank you!:mickey:

Oogie Boogie is the Star of the 17th Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House

intercot.com - Fri, 2017-09-15 23:19
Disneyland park has revealed their 17th Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House for the 2017 Halloween Season:

Quote: Originally Posted by Disney Parks & Resorts ... This year, the fanciful gingerbread creation features Oogie Boogie, who gets his chance to shine after a 13-year absence in the ballroom, thrilling fans of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

“The gingerbread mansion this year has a bug problem – gingerbread bugs! But it’s not a problem that a gingerbread Oogie Boogie can’t fix. He pried open the roof of the gingerbread mansion and has his fork at the ready, happy to fix the infestation in the only way he would – by eating them,” says Tim Wollweber, associate art director for Disney Parks, who designed this year’s house. “But quite a few bugs have gotten loose and are rampaging across the ballroom table, tormenting the gingerbread zombies there, who are forced to defend themselves with silverware!”

The house is six feet tall to the roof point, but the animated Oogie Boogie himself is seven feet tall. There are more than 70 bugs “scurrying” across the ballroom table and the ballroom itself. We have been told there might be a few gingerbread bugs that have escaped out of the ballroom … think you can find them?
