Walking cast

Fri, 2017-06-02 23:33
I tore my Achilles and May be in a walking cast at Disney for my trip. I can tolerate rides fine and walking is ok. But I am concerned with the rides with moving paths like haunted Mansion. I am not sure how well I can manage on those. Also is there rides in which they will not let me ride with a walking cast? I am piglet sized, so leg room usually is not a problem.

Something to be aware of

Fri, 2017-06-02 23:26
I just saw this and thought I'd pass along.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World in the near future be aware that scammers are calling guests’ resort rooms late at night asking for their credit card information. According to streamingthemagic.com, a guest was called at 12:07 a.m. from a number that posed as the front desk of her Walt Disney World Resort. Fortunately, the guest did not hand over her private information, but when she reported the incident to the front desk the next morning not only did the desk verify that it wasn’t Disney calling her, but they also stated that scammers have tried this tactic before!

Be aware that Disney will not call a guest’s room after 10:30 p.m. Additionally, never disclose your private information from an undisclosed phone number who is demanding your information. If something like this happens to you hang up, and call an official Disney phone number back directly, or talk to the front desk. Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth, but it still won’t stop some scammers from trying to take advantage of trusting guests.
