If you’ve been paying attention to the news these last few months, you’ve probably heard about the whales, sharks, and other aquatic life that wash up dead on beaches with stomachs filled with plastic debris that has accumulated in the ocean after being discarded by humans on land. It’s horrible,...

How long after surgery did everyone feel good enough to start adding miles to their training? Thanks in advance.
Yay! I missed you guys.
One of the unheralded aspects of the Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World is the opportunity to get character photos with some rare pals from Duckburg. Donald’s Dino-Bash has taken over DinoLand, USA with colorful decor and new character meet and greet opportunities. Rare characters like Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad...

If Orlando’s food scene is known outside of Central Florida a significant part of that work was done by James and Julie Petrakis. Their award winning restaurants “The Ravenous Pig,” “Cask and Larder” and the Disney Springs exploration of all that’s great from the barbecue “The Polite Pig,” bring their...

Although there are conflicting exact start dates reported among Resort Cast, it appears the Tambu Lounge will close "Mid-Summer 2018" and re-open "Fall 2018" after a 2 -3 months renovation.
The re-imagining will reportedly primarily focus on a re-design and update of the bar area.
During the closure, Guests can expect to find temporary drink spots set-up inside the Great Ceremonial House.
Many reviews state that those staying at CBR don't notice the construction but imho CBR is destroyed. It'll be fantastic when it's done, for sure but if I'd never stayed there before then I probably wouldn't ever again. On the bright side the new Spyglass grill was a nice new addition.
The Noodles at Skipper Kanteen are fire on the lips. That's a good thing for the first 10 min but after that it's inedible. Loved the first 10 min of the dish however. :)
I did notice an increase in Disney "moments" where cast memebers empower themselves to make things right. Based on our schedule we weren't going to be able to get fast passes to the rides we wanted so my 8 year old started crying as he passed by Splash Mountain. A cast member saw this and gave us all fast passes. Also, in MGM I was looking for replacement batteries for my daughter's Star Wars Mickey light up ears that were several years old and not working anymore. A cast member looked for the batteries first but upon seeing that they don't offer the size she offered to simply swap out the old ears for new ones with new batteries. Nice!
One last thing...everything, everywhere is under construction or destruction. It's definitely a transition period. I just hope from this point forward it doesn't always look like a work in progress.
It was a great trip overall!

One month from now theaters will be filled with bug-eyed fans of Marvel’s super-sized super hero movie with an insect high perspective when Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and the Wasp” flies into theaters. We’re excited because it means we get our first look at the character posters for the movie’s main...
Other than Flametree BBQ and fast food spots, I have yet to try a restaurant within Animal Kingdom park where reservations are suggested. Anyone have any suggestions on which restaurants to try within Animal Kingdom? If so, what did you order that was tasty food? Also, this will be a party of 1 experience later this year.
